Uluru/Kata-Jtuta - Day 2

Day 2 in the outback finds us trekking to another formation of rocks... so close to Ayers Rock yet a totally different type of outcropping.  Ayers Rock is a monolith meaning it is all one rock.  Kata Jtuta is a series of rocks - still beautiful red, but these are a conglomerate rocks.  Justin got a nasty migraine on the drive out there so he was hurting but managed to keep going for the walk...

I think this could be a senior picture or something - she looks so grown up and so beautiful!

We found this window/shady spot for lunch.  It was gorgeous!
