Meet Sierra Nevada Johnson!!!

Our poor hound, Sierra Nevada Johnson (named after a dang good brewery and a favorite moutain range) never gets any attention... and when she does... its most likely negative attention!  She is nearly 8 years old and had a few glorious years in our pre-children days when we were DINKS (Double Income No Kids) with a dog... 

She's had a rough few months with her recently developed allergies (yes, Houston even brings out the allergies in your DOG!)  She has a myriad of behaivor issues; i.e. barking loudly when she needs something (and sometimes when she doesn't), slamming into my window blinds and barking madly whenever a dog/cat/walker with a dog goes by (does ABSOLUTELY nothing when the meter reader trounces through my backyard (grrr...), eats off my counters (gross, I know... I regularly clean them with antibacterial kitchen cleaner for those of you that have eaten here, don't worry), wakes me up EVERY night to pee (if she doesn't, I have to search the house for the wet spot), playing rough (her daddy may have had something to do with that one)..... BUT despite all these horrible habits - she's our dog and we do love her!!!  One of her redeeming qualities is she is the BEST snuggler ever.
