Jessica Watson's Blog. At age 16, Jessica just began her trip around the world on October 18th. She is attempting to sail around the world, solo and unassisted, in a record 8 months. As a mom to 2 daughters who I want to have the confidence, ability, and support to follow their hearts desire (no matter how terrifying that may be to their mother) I say:

Days that are warm and sunny

We will definitely be following this journey! I think it's special to be apart of the journey as it happens... mostly, people just tell you about their great feats after they accomplish them or when they are close to the finish (most times a successful finish) - here we will see her from day 1 to day 240...
