As our road trip continued - Denver to Reno leg - we brought along my family and went to Glenwood Springs for 2 days. Glenwood Springs is a place I grew up going to every summer... it is a Ponder "tradition" - and my kids have already been 3 or so times and we don't even live in the state! We swam both days in the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool... I don't have any shots of swimming because I was having to much fun swimming and it was a little chilly meaning we were sitting in the warm spring water most of the time! We also did the Hanging Lake hike - it is a beautiful side hike right off I-70 in Glenwood Canyon (side note for bikers: Glenwood has a 17 mile bike path through the canyon GORGEOUS ride - we didn't do the ride this time, but I know we will one of these times through.) My kiddos have done this hike 2 times now... The Ponders and Johnsons tackled this 2 mile roundtrip hike with about 1000' of elevation gain...

Such a great visit with my family... it was special to visit Glenwood with my siblings and all the kiddos. I love you all and miss you like heck!
