When you drive through the Kansas flatlands, enter Colorado... drive for an hour or so... and get your first glimpse of the mountains - you are astounded. EVERY. TIME. Unfortunately, our mountains were a little smoky this trip. :( Lots of fires throughout Colorado and Wyoming right now...
We drove through Garden of the Gods near C. Springs and spent some time scrambling around on the rocks... and posing for the camera!
