Louisiana - Driskill Mountain and Lincoln Parish Park

Driskill Mountain is about 10-15 miles off I - 20 near a town called Ruston.  We made this high point on our first day of driving.  It was about about a mile walk each way.  All the way up to 535'.  ;)

We stayed at Lincoln Parish Park - an really great RV park with trails ALL over.  It had a lake with a mile long paved path all the way around it.  The girls rode the path several times and we ran along with them.  A very nice privately owned park - we would definitely stay here again.  And, of course, the camping favorite... smores... we had them almost EVERY night... We could NOT get enough!
