OUCHIE!

On our way home from the Rodeo, we were hit by a hit-n-run driver running a red light.  As you can see, the Honda suffered, but it kept the Johnson's safe.  We had our guardian angels working overtime as the driver that hit us wasn't going too fast, he missed my sweet Aubrey's door by inches and we didn't hit anyone else or go off road when we were hit.  The girls were sleeping and kept right on sleeping through the whole event!  He spun us around and we saw him taking off.  I was unbelievably mad that someone would do that and gave him a piece of my mind as he fled.  I was also shocked that with 4-5 witnesses there NOT ONE stopped to see if we were okay.

The cops were great and pursued the driver as soon as they could.  We got lucky when the tow truck driver found his license plate in the street - he found it after the cops and ourselves had pulled all the pieces we could find out of the intersection.  The plate was good and they tracked him down - I did a happy dance when I learned he was thrown in jail.  Apparently after he hit us he also hit a tree.  He wasn't drunk - just tired I guess.  No license and no insurance... boo!

Anyway, we are feeling thankful that the only thing needing attention is our little Honda.
