Taylor - My Birthday Girl

WOW!  A 6 year old - no longer a baby, toddler, preschooler, OR kindergartener ...  I have a daughter in grade school (well, almost)!  She is so big!  48 1/2 inches tall and 50 lbs.  She is a lean little thing and she actually has little muscles that show when she runs, jumps, swings and swims.  Taylor is super smart -- she got all 3's and S's on her report card - 3's and S's are the best you can do, so it was like she had straight A's (well, there was one 2 in the first quarter (we stumbled a bit on our counting to 100 at first), but we don't count it as we were adjusting to life in Kindergarten).  She remembers EVERYTHING and knows her job is to help mom out with important things we have to remember.  Her hair is long and blonde and her eyes are blue as the sky.  She's witty and laughs at my jokes - which I love.  She's ornery too - a favorite past time of hers is to torture her sister and father... and I get my fair share too.  I love watching her play Super Mario with her dad on the Wii.  She stands right next to the "box" that gives you the super powers and takes the best one (the fire power, or flying thingy) from her dad... on purpose, totally planned, and every time he gets mad at her, but every time she does it - most likely because she loves to see what her dad will do/say.  I'm in love with her and her smile can light up an entire room!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!  You may be tall enough to ride the water slides everywhere, but you will always be our first born baby!  We love you so dearly!  We are so proud of you!

We have no shortage of flies to study under our microscope - they really do have hairy legs and their wings are amazing.  Thank you Grandma Betty!

We cruise the globe seeing all the places daddy's been and follow the trail of our sailor, Jessica Watson, around the world.  We discussed World Cup soccer - where its played and where the teams are from.
