Welcome Winter!!!

Yesterday was the first day of winter and we spent the day enjoying a winter past time - SLEDDING!  Thanks to my fancy new zoom lens (thank you hon!) I got many, many (we are talking hundreds) of pictures of the event.  My sis-in-law, Jessica, now is the proud owner of a camera just like mine so now our family events are documented from 2 angles - WHAT FUN!

After 4 wheeling out to the perfect sledding locations - which was half the fun! - we watched as our husbands sat our children on old tire inner tubes and took them down steep hills ladden with rocks and sage brush.  Suprisingly, there was a minimum of tears, only one tire tube was destroyed and the kids had an absolute ball!  The moms even began to relax and enjoy watching the kids race down the hills.  ;)

Justin to Matt:
"Hey, dude, you know what this hill needs - A JUMP - let's build one!"
(pretty sure that was the exact conversation between brothers!)

Yes, Justin took a daughter and a dog over the jump on this run! :)

Rylie and Matt - over thejump!

SURVIVORS!

  4. Tiff...this was truly one of the best days EVER! The Winter weather rocked that day, the kids had NO FEAR, and little Abe was also fear less that day. And you and I were picture taking Momma's...you have created a monster! I owe all of my picture taking obsession to you! Thank you...I thoroughly enjoy it!
I look forward to another day (a carbon copy) of this exact day. Only things missing...Grandma & Grandpa!!! Love's ya.....
