Summer Vacation!

I AM BACK!!!  For the summer at least.  I have decided that I should really be better about this blog - which I decided numerous times in the past - but as I watch my kids get older and bigger and take all these photos I never go through... I need a place to chronicle my thoughts and our adventures.  A place where I can easily go back through our years and see my kids grow up.  So - here is to ME starting over here...

The very day I got done with school we left for a two week vacation - this is how that day went...  I was checking out of the HS at 7:30am, I was home by 10:30am, we had a volleyball game at noon and we were on the road by 2pm...  Whew!!!

Its 1000 miles to DisneyWorld (which was our first stop), but not before we knocked out our first of 7 (yes, 7!!!) high points this trip...  FLORIDA high point.

The Florida high point is actually lower than many states lowest points and was a short drive of the highway to Britton Hill, elevation 345'.  Its a drive up highpoint - we call these "flip flop" high points!
