We almost did bust trying to get out of Houston on the Friday evening of a holiday weekend, but we perservered and arrived at Lake Texoma at 1:30 am. Whew! Once we got there - totally worth it! Lake Texoma is gorgeous.... with sandy beaches to play on. We had a blast having most of the family together (minus the Witkops who were sorely missed.... seriously, we missed you guys SO much!!!) The cousins played non-stop! Jack - who is about to turn 2 - was the center of attention and seemed to enjoy that spot. He LOVED his Uncle Justin - even more than his loved his Aunty (which I will be working on in the future - Aunty should be number 1!) Jack was perfectly happy when he got to swim and drive the boat.... guess that proves he's one of us.. that's when most of us are happy too!
