My dear friend, Jessica Watson... actually I am her friend, but she doesn't know it, I am probably more like a stalker... is rounding the Cape of South America tomorrow morning on her solo, unassisted trip around the world. I have been following her since her departure from Australia in mid-October. This is a huge milestone in her trip around the world and I excited for her accomplishment. I think I am so mesmorized by her adventure because I see this trip from two polar opposite sides, it feels a bit like a split personality. On one side, I am awed and envious of her bravery and her tenacity to take on this HUGE adventure. On the other side, I am like a mother hen... worried, proud, anxiously awaiting her updates and imagining what her poor mother must be thinking! Either way, I am on the edge of my seat and check her blog ALL the time!
Nothing quite so exciting to report from Johnsonville this evening. We are beginning another long stint without Justin as he is in Madrid again. I am subbing Kindergarten tomorrow... what was I thinking?... It is a logistical operation just getting my kids to and from their schools tomorrow so I can sub for 8 hours... I could NOT do it without my wonderful friends! Thank you!
Tonight, I am mainly missing my man!
