Goodbye 2009.... Hello 2010!
So, no New Year's resolutions from me this year... last year I was determined to read the whole Bible in a year and I made it through half of Exodus and quit... resolutions are horrible because I can't keep them. This year, I will blog more... partially because I really enjoy it and mostly because I want to remember all the wonderful things my kids do and say, and because someday I will laugh at all the not-so-wonderful things they do and say! I am blogging mostly for me, but hoping that some people read and enjoy our adventures as well!
To cap our year, we tailgated and attended the Navy vs Mizzou game - where I learned that the Navy's mascot really is a Goat... I always thought Justin was teasing the Navy guys about that. I guess it used to be a pidgeon, so a goat is probably the better of the two! No, seriously, we love our Navy friends, even if they went to Navy! Lots of fun was had and Navy got the win, so bonus! Also, the Mighty Force beat Houston in the Armed Forces bowl so it was a great day for all our teams.
Hope that everyone else out there had a wonderful New Year's Eve and we are looking forward to an exciting 2010! Blessings to everyone!
