Franken-Dog

Here we go again... stinkin' dog...  Same tumor as we had last spring - grew back less than 1 year later... Apparently it was a bit more aggressive than our vet knew and we did not remove enough tissue around the tumor last time.  Sooooooooooooooo this time 29 staples, her very own oncologist and chemo for the rest of her life... the good news... she won't loose her hair ;)  If she was younger the vet would have removed the two ribs around the tumor to be sure it was gone.  :o  Seems kinda serious....

We love her and we just couldn't let that tumor be the end of her.  She is 13 years young.  She still runs 3 miles easy with Tiff and even more with Justin.  She is the best snuggler in the world... digging her head into your lap or chest.  She sleeps curled up in the crook of your knees.  We are not ready for this to end...  Don't get me wrong she has plenty of bad habits but that is not what this post is about!  ;)
