Christmas Memories 2012

A Colorado Christmas - couldn't stop signing John Denver in my head... "A quiet Christmas morning, in the Colorado snow..."  Well, it might not have been quiet, but it was a white Christmas.  As I reflect, I feel incredibly blessed - blessed to have such a wonderful family...

My mom and Wyatt cooked and cared for us all for 9 days.  Wyatt entertained the girls and "punched" out Aubrey's tooth - thanks Papa!  Grandma Betty spoiled the heck out of them...

My sister, Tom and Paisley... you guys are amazing and we love you dearly.  We enjoy watching them function as a family and are continually impressed by their team work and love for each other.  I might be the older sister, but Trish is the responsbile, good child - an amazing wife and mother too!  ;)  Favorite Christmas memory - all of us chanting "Go Paisley, go paisley... go, go, go Paisley!!" and Paisley dancing and spinning in circles - dangerous and fun!!!   Won't ever forget her awesome dance moves!

TJ and his family couldn't make it because he started a new job!  Congrats Bro!  We missed you so much and I am so proud of you and your new position.  Enjoyed our phone calls... we will all be together soon!

Pictures tell the story better than I could ever do...

Some little girl loves her Uncle Justin a whole bunch...
She seriously adores him and he seriously loves being adored!

Paisley's new hat!

Playing in the snow!!!  Too cold for a snowman, but we did make a snow sea turtle?!?  I guess that is the Texas in us - we must be used to sand... or something....

A favorite picture of mine... Taylor and her Grandma!  In her new glasses too!

All Grandma's girls...  man, we miss those Ponder boys!  Too much estrogen in that house!  There was a time when Wyatt was on the road, Tom was in Laramie and Justin was the sole male!!!  Even the three dogs are female.  Poor guy!!!!

Our "tradition" of Spaghetti factory for dinner!

The crew!  Not pictured, but there somewhere are Shirley and Carla...

Playing on the big rig with Papa!

Making themselves at home in the sleeper...

Another favorite pic of some of my favorite people in this world!
We skated on real ice outside!!!  Not something Texans get to do often!

It's just like riding a bike - I was twirling like an Olympic skater - not really...

Turns out the Texan girls are pretty good on snow and ice!!!

A cute picture of mom and Wyatt!
Grandma and her girls again - my girls are posing!

Uncle TJ - this one is for you!!!
