Vedauwoo Turtle Rock Hike

So, my sister and Tom say, "There is this great trail in Vedauwoo right off I-80 near Laramie... its about 3.5 miles and you go around this rock outcrop called Turtle Rock".... 

Fast forward...

Johnson family is on the trail preparing for a nice walk.... 

Fast forward...

Johnson family... off the trail heading straight up Turtle Rock.  I guess we (and by we - I mean they) were born climbers and I have to accept that fact...  I just have to scramble along behind them so I can keep an eye on the three of them!

Well, it was alot of fun, I have to admit.  I definitely have to trust that Justin can get us down once he gets us up there.  He lifted all three of us up onto some parts and let me climb on his shoulder to get up one section.  Then coming down he had to catch the girls and I a few times too.... Yikes!!!  The kids had a ball and are like little mountain goats, especially Taylor... although Aubrey was not afraid at all and did a great job too!
